A highlight of The Caravan Club Collection is over 250 photographs which chart the touring adventures of a true pioneer of caravanning, Ralph Lee MBE. Ralph and his wife Muriel were keen explorers and travelled across the channel 74 times. They were the first ever caravanners to enter the Soviet Union and to reach the Arctic Circle.
Donated to The Club in 2005 following its discovery in the attic of Mr Lee’s former home, the Collection has since been catalogued and digitised to improve both preservation and access.
