A page from one of the photograph albums loaned to the Museum.
Five photograph albums detailing exploration trips made to Egypt during 1920s have been temporarily loaned to us for copying and identification, before the originals are given to the National Geographical Society. Permission has been granted to use the images for research and in future exhibitions.
Work by staff and volunteers is under way to digitally copy, document and identify the image contents of these unique albums which give a wonderful insight to the early days of pioneering motoring. The albums will then be available for research.
